| i've seen fire and i've seen rain,
and that's not all i've seen this weekend. we had actf (american college theatre festival) and we had a great show thurs night. that friday i saw a couple good shows and then that night did some improv...oh it was fun!!!
then saturday i went to the alabama vs. state football game. we won!! hooray!! it was so much fun. and i got to play the cowbell solo again for don't fear the reaper. the fans ate it up. and the band people fed us great food. by the way, tommy or anyone who has any say in band...chicken fingers and macaroni and cheese from kfc is THE BEST MEAL FROM THE BAND EVER...no joke!!
got back to state and then went with owen, william, jonette, james and kristin to see...Colin Mochrie and Brad Sherwood...LIVE in meridian!!!! the show was amazing. and then even more amazing than that? we met them afterwards! we shook their hands, they signed my hat, brad called me gilligan, colin probably didn't want to but he signed my belly (so did brad) and they told us to keep doin it (talking about improv). it was soo great!
now i'm crazy busy and i have to study for tests, write scenes, and memorize monologues. see ya later.

so we just finished madwoman of chaillot. we have to do it again for actf. the party was fun.
we had a show on friday the 13th. it went really well. i absolutely love improv.
for those of you who were wondering, i didn't win the wings award. but it's ok cause my fellow castmate michael won it. he was horton. i was proud of him. and seussical did well so i'm happy. i wish i could see rocky horror show in huntsville but i have football games to march at. oh well.
so as i write this, i think they are having band practice. in my defense, i can't check my email from about 3:20 until night because i have choir. so after choir (and then bass sectional, yeah isn't it weird i'm a bass, well baritone) i looked over at the practice field WHICH WAS UNDERNEATH A CONSTANT STREAM OF RAIN and i didn't see any people lined up in the practice block or anyone on the sidelines waiting for the practice to start, so i just assumed i didn't have band. i realize what happens when i assume things, but oh well. i guess this'll be my unexcused absence. maybe i'll fight it. not sure yet.
there's been a lot of thinking i've doing in my head (what other thinking is there?) this week. i've also been physically tired. sorry if you see me in a not as chipper mood. at least we sing beautiful music in choir. i love the Lord. i don't know if i say that enough. amen. see ya later.

| i can only imagine,
and that's what we were thinking about the secaf...until this weekend! it was freakin awesome! we had like 8 improv groups or something and we all performed and we all partied together and we all workshopped and we all had crushes on david patton...what? that was just me and the girls? oh...hmm...ok then nevermind.
anyway, i hope we have many many more southeastern comedy arts festivals. hooray for rapists, right? right? oh, also i said i would xanga owen, jonette, and my kilamanjaro climbing expedition. owen got to the top first and we used rope.
also for you people in huntsville, i'm coming home for the wings awards on oct 24. hopefully i'll see y'all there.

| carry that weight, so the wings awards nominees came out in the paper sunday and online today. i was really excited to see myself on the nominee list. and i was also really happy to see so much seussical on the list. it was a terrifically fun play and i thought it was really good as well. hope we win a lot. anyway to check out the nominee list go here: http://www.wingsawards.org/index.html also everyone and their mother should come to the southeastern comedy arts festival. this is going to be held sept 29-30. one show friday night, one show saturday afternoon, and a show saturday night. it features improv groups from all over the southeast. please come see a great weekend of comedy and heck, just use this as an excuse to come visit me and party with me. if you need more details, let me know. i can fill you in. please come. remember it's written in the stars. the constellations are. they make shapes if you look really hard and squint and pretend it's actually a picture. see ya later. -Will | | |
